The many beach stalls in Kovalam are loaded with stuff including gems & silver trinkets, seashell craft & jewelry, teak & rosewood figurines and some Tibetan memorabilia too!

Kovalam’s tourist season is at its zenith in winter months from November to February.
By Air- Trivandrum International Airport, around 18kms from Kovalam, connects Kovalam with major Indian and some international cities.
By Rail- Trivandrum Central Railway Station, around 14kms away, is the closest railhead connecting Kovalam with major cities in India.
By Road- A well-maintained network of roads & highways connect Kovalam with most of the Indian cities.
