The seat of the Nizam’s in Hyderabad, Chowmahalla palace reflects their grandeur and opulence. An interesting display of crockery, clothes, furniture, coins and currency notes, and pictures from the Nizam era graces the many galleries of the palace. Belgian crystal chandeliers, vintage cars, hand-written Qurans, and royal carriages are the major attractions of Chowmahalla.
Formed on a tributary of river Musa, this 16th century man-made lake is one of the integral parts of Hyderabad tour. Boat rides on the lake, lakeside peddlers & food stalls, and the huge Buddha statue in the adjacent Lumbini Park are the major attractions here.
